It is already September, and autumn is just around the corner. In a few weeks, fall flavors will bombard us everywhere we go. The biggest culprit: pumpkin. We can’t leave our homes without seeing pumpkin: lattes, scones, tarts, cookies, ice cream, bagels, the list goes on, both savory and sweet. Since you’ll have no problem finding pumpkin, I’d like to share some of my favorite alternative squash recipes! Fall and winter squash is so versatile and downright delicious; it’s one of the easiest things to cook for a hearty meal or tasty dessert.

Feel free to experiment and swap out different types to see what your favorites are.
