Trendy Toast

Who doesn’t love warm toasted bread that’s crunchy on the outside and pillowy soft on the inside? The artisan toast trend has really picked up momentum the last few years; even inspiring restaurants dedicated solely to toast dishes.  Whether it is the popular avocado toast, or upscale remixes of beans on toast, cheese has played an important part in this growing trend.

Here’s a list of some tasty toast combos to try that highlight all cheesy possibilities.  Feel free to experiment with all sorts of your favorite breads, crackers, and flatbreads.

Goat cheese, olive oil, figs

Spread a layer of plain or honey goat cheese on the toast. Slice or halve dried figs and place on top of the goat cheese. Drizzle with olive oil. You can even check out our Capricorn Goat Cheese  on our amazon page here
